ABOUT US
SHADOWLEE CANINE non-profit provides the structure for therapy dog teams to obtain the necessary training and certification to be active volunteers in the community. The organization creates and directs programs for therapy teams to work with Veterans, children in schools and adults in healthcare communities.
Shadowlee Canine is teaching at Concord Pets in West Chester and starting a new class on October 7 at 11 AM. Class is for 7 weeks and costs $375. This class is for therapy dog certification and basic obedience. We are a non-profit and most of the fee goes towards your insurance while volunteering only. The student needs to be at least 16 years old. If an extra person is certified on the dog, that will be an additional $75. Graduates get insurance for volunteering only, a certification letter and a Shadowlee Canine scarf. You can also order our vests online. This class is also for emotional support animals. Emotional support animals do not have to volunteer. Please contact us at shadowleecanine@gmail.com or call 518-755-5601. If you are interested in attending class, please leave a $75 deposit at Concord Pets, 804 E. Market Street, West Chester, PA
